SOUND: So Sarah, we’re loving your new single, will you be releasing any tour dates soon?
SARAH:“Definitely. My album’s due to hit the stores Monday and I’m touring round the US starting in June which is veryexciting. UK tour dateswill be anounced very oon.”
SOUND: Well we at SOUND cannot wait to hear more! How have you found fitting into the celebrity life?
SARAH: “It takes a bit of getting used to being photograoged by the paparazzi everywhere I and I stil cant get usedto hearing my single being played on the radio and seeing myself on the music channel [she laughs]. But I am enjoying it.”
SOUND: We’ve heard you’ve been getting very good friends with Katy Perry recently and may be supporting her next tour?
SARAH: [Sarah laughs] ”No not at all, I only met her once and we barely spoke.”
SOUND: [We laugh] So, have you managed to fit a man into your busy lifestyle?
SARAH: “Yes, I’m still with my boyfriend, Sam, who I’ve been with since before I had my big break and although it’s still difficult with me always working and traveling, we make it work and are stronger than ever. I make sure I see my family and friends at home as much as possible because I’d hate to lose touch and let fame go to my head.” SOUND: We see photos of you on lad mags and wearing very revealing outfits in your music videos . Is this not the image you give in your free time?
SARAH: “No, not at all. I hate wearing tight revealing outfits and I don’t enjoy wearing stilletos either! They are so uncomfortable to walk in and being a very accident prone person, I’d much rather wear flats [she laughs]. But noone wants to watch a girl perform in a jeans, hoody and flats do they?” SOUND: [We laugh]. That’s very true! It seems we had you wrong then. So tell us Sarah, we heard you got into a fight with Lily Allen in a nightclub recently or is this just another rumour?
SARAH: “This one happens to be true [Sarah laughs]. However it never gotviolent but did get rather heated. She got incredibly rude and disrespectful and I wasn’t afraid tell her what I think.”
SOUND: We’ll keep that in mind [we laugh]. And finally, before we say goodbye, when will we be expecting another single? We’re dying to hear your next one!
SARAH: “I’ll be releasing it next month and it hasTimbaland and Keri Hilson featuring in it [she says with a cheeky smile]. And as I said before, my new album is comingout Monday so be sure to buy it or download it!”
SOUND: Well Sarah certainly proved us wrong about her and after 5 minutes her caring attitude and smile had won us over.
